Thank you eugenevdebs , for curing my brokendown computer . I received it in the mail yesterday in perfect condition, with all of my much-missed music on it. it's so amazing how having your library back - any library: books, movies, music, vibrators - can enlighten you. Alan, you are my HERO and i hope i'll get to see you soon. when are you coming here to visit? we must talk. only, i can't talk. my vocal chords are covered in colonizing bacteria, and so far i've been whispering all morning and for the past 36 hours. otherwise i would have called to thank you! my parents are also in true awe.

who can tell me how to properly link other lj users in my posts?

off to do some gardening. to my music.

'twas a struggle....new motherboard, keyboard, CD-RW drive, and as you can see, likely a new battery because the one you have now won't take a charge (I'm hoping that it's the battery and not something in the motherboard that's not allowing the battery to charge). don't use Roxio unless you can download an update that recognizes the CD-RW. use realplayer to burn. you need to renew your anti-virus software. that's all.
